BlackJack Boats is happy to announce a new model to its production line of premier center-console bay boats, the “Coastal.”
The Coastal has an overall length of 25 feet, 6 inches, and is an open layout suited for various uses. This hybrid model is perfect for hardcore fishing enthusiasts — like the 224 and 256 models — who need a vessel that can go into bigger, rougher water and still get the exceptionally smooth and dry ride that’s come to be expected from the BlackJack brand.
However, it also includes several “creature comforts” that set it apart from other bay boats, such as multiple cupholders, padding around the bow platform and removable backrest for forward seating, allowing passengers a more comfortable experience.
The open layout, with its easy access to the stern and 40-gal. live well leaning post, make the Coastal a layout ideal for trolling or setting up offshore on reefs or wrecks. The modified vee and raised forward deck and trolling motor make it equally capable inshore, chasing reds and specks.
Quickly convertible to a day cruiser, with optional deck cushions and back rests, makes the Coastal a favorite on the the sandbars or a cruise on the Intracoastal Waterway.
And, of course, all of these features are captured on the lines and hull design that BlackJacks are known for and revered.
Be on the lookout for more details, including at what BlackJack dealers the Coastal will be located, as well as upcoming boat shows it will be at for viewing, such as the Gulf Coast Boat, Sport & RV Show in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Jan. 18-20; the Southern Louisiana Boat, Sport & RV Show in Houma, Louisiana, Jan. 25-27; and The Boat Show in New Orleans Feb. 8-10.
